1. Launched new AL8000 HT ligth tower
The new Terex AL8000 HT light tower was launched last November at the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) in Louisville – United States. With this new equipment, Terex is taking light towers to the next level.
The AL8000 HT has a height of 8.5m, horizontal outreach of 6.1 m and 359 degree powered rotation. Its hydraulic mast enables complete mobility in positioning the light.
According to David Spears, Terex product manager, the new light tower was designed to satisfy the market for flexible positioning in lighting. Its lighting bar tilts at 180 degrees vertically, which enables to extend and rotate the mast in several operational positions.
Each light rotates in two AL8000 HT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS perpendicular directions to place light fixtures in a precise position - front to back and 360 degrees from side to side.
The mast can also be rotated hydraulically at 359 degrees.
“The AL8000 HT is the ideal solution for use in mining, where it is necessary to direct the light upwards and over bermes (ledge at the bottom of slope used as a barrier) or downwards, inside the mines”, states Spears. “The capacity to position both lighting stem and each light fixture is interesting for large constructions, airports, railroads and also for municipal and governmental uses.”
